Battlestar Gallactica wasn’t a movie – so no battlestars are in the list. The TARDIS is NOT A SPACESHIP; it’s a TARDIS. And the Death Star is not a spaceship either, it’s a space station. The famous line isn’t “that’s no moon, it’s a spaceship” the line is “that’s no moon, it’s a space station!”

Just for fun, my quick list of my 10 badass TV show spaceships:

We all are clear that the Battlestar Gallactica’s main ship-to-ship battery was nuclear missiles right? Nukes. It also took a few nuke impacts in it’s life time. Lasers are seriously puss.

Oh, I forgot all about the Liberator! And I can’t believe the TARDIS didn’t get a mention either – if you want badass, how about the most advanced ship in the entire universe, from the oldest and most powerful species ever? Which, admittedly, is a bit old and broken down, but still pretty cool. The earth starships that feature in Stargate: SG1, Atlantis etc would be good candidates too.

these lists are always such dreck … some Gen-Xer or Gen-Y kid who’s played 100 videogames and seen 100 bad movies (and none of the classics, nor actually read any books) writes for these sites that Digg always puts on their lists of lists and they are always crap. Every single ship on this list would be below 200 other really cool ships if the author knew a damn thing

Reading back at the top.. it just says 10 badass spaceships.. not the 10 MOST badass. And something I missed at the beginning:

“For the purposes of this list, we have elected to leave out a few of the more famous fictional ships. The Enterprise, Bird of Prey, Nostromo, Discovery One, Mothership and Millennium Falcon always dominate the conversation because they are superbad in every way. Rather than recycle these classics, we’re gonna call attention to some other badass candidates worthy of discussion.”
