State Farm Insurance Ruined the Cheers Theme Song
All matter of products and services use TV commercials to help shill their wares. And a lot of said commercials also employ music and/or popular songs to spice things up. The end results can be satisfying, annoying or in the case of State Farm Insurance’s latest, blasphemous. Even though I can’t recall one off the top of my head, I’m sure some greedy conglomerate has ruined a classic television series’ theme song before, but I doubt it was as blatantly horrific as this:
Because hanging out at the neighborhood pub with your friends is the same as being charged exorbitant rates by your smarmy insurance agent. Thank you State Farm for sullying one of my fondest childhood memories.
