You hit the nail on the head for the most part except Kid Rock. You need to replace him with Cypress Hill-Insane in the Brain. And House of Pain-Jump Around the popularity of that song just pissed off the entire black hip hop rap community! Deep Blue Something-Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Blind Melon-No Rain. James-Laid,EMF-Unbelievable,Sponge-Plowed,Sneaker Pimps-Becoming X. And nothing from Depeche Mode? They created a whole new genre of music. Music from the 90s has been allot better than know.

Hey Mac, some of the songs you listed came out in the 80s, and it’s clearly stated that heavy metal acts were left off because it’s a different genre than mainstream rock.

How could you leave off songs like One-Metallica the break into mainstream song for the greatest metal band in history, or Sweet Child of Mine- G&R’s break through song as well. Others that should have made this list; Walk-Pantera, Symphony of Destruction- Megadeath, Welocme to Paradise- GreenDay just to name a few.
