The Fiction to Reality Timeline
Science Fiction is loved by geeks for many reasons, but the aspect of plausibility has to be high up on the list. Who hasn’t watched a futuristic movie and wondered what it would take to make a particular gadget or concept reality. Normally you would think that something would be featured in a movie before actually possible in reality, but that isn’t always the case. Sometimes the movies are inspired by actual events, as this graphic shows… and yes, we had a bit of trouble following the crazy lines too.
