New Branded Trailer Released
A new Sci-Fi movie is set to hit theaters in September, that Rush Limbaugh will certainly think is the result of some left-wing socialist Russian conspiracy. He’d probably be somewhat correct, as this mind bending thriller, Branded, was filmed in Russia… and it accuses an equally sinister conspiracy :
Set in a dystopian future where corporate brands have created a disillusioned population, one man’s effort to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with hidden forces that control the world.
Check out this trailer they just released at Comic-Con for a bit of a mind screw :
We’re pretty sure they realize the irony of flashing QR codes in the trailer for a movie about brands taking over society. Never the less, if you know how to use those things, you can pause the trailer and access additional content about the flick. Personally I find the original trailer a bit more straight forward and compelling. The entire concept seems like Morgan Spurlock meets the Wachowski brothers :
